Director, Football City - NYC, New York

• Lead operational planning and delivery of an Olympic Games venue and corresponding non-competition venues in the assigned city.
• Drive cross-functional operational integration and lead a venue team at Games-time.
• Manage stakeholder relationships, venue agreements, and ensure compliance with contractual terms.
• Hire, train, and lead a diverse, high-performing venue team to execute venue operations plans.

This role directly contributes to the successful delivery of the Los Angeles 2028 Olympic and Paralympic Games, creating a world-class event that celebrates diversity, inclusion, and athletic excellence, inspiring millions globally.

• Minimum 8+ years of experience in sports/event management, major Games delivery, or major event properties.
• Proven track record of leading large-scale, complex event operations across planning, readiness, and operation phases.
• Experience building and leading diverse, high-performing teams.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.

Annual base salary range: $126,000 - $160,000. LA28 is an independent, non-profit organization. No relocation assistance provided.
