Chief of Staff to the CPTO

Core responsibilities:

• Increase the quality and speed of decisions across the Product and Technology organization
• Operate as a senior product leader and executive partner - shaping decisions, running the product operating system, and ensuring strategy turns into outcomes
• Take personal ownership of the thorniest cross-org and cross-Guild problems
• Maintain and communicate a clear and coherent narrative for strategy, priorities, and tradeoffs

This role makes the Product & Technology organization faster, clearer, and more impactful, enabling Guild to better develop talent and create opportunity for workers across America.

Required skills and experience:

• Deep Product DNA - thinking in systems and grounded in customer and market
• Data fluency with outcome-centricity - ability to challenge metrics and build strong narratives
• AI fluency - ability to actively engage as Guild embraces being AI-native
• Exceptional communication - distilling complexity into simple clarity for different audiences
• Bias to action - making difficult decisions with imperfect information
• Experience as a strategic force multiplier for an executive (Chief of Staff or senior product leader)
• Experience building and running or materially improving a product operating system

Compensation and benefits:

• Base salary: $185,000-215,000
