at Far.Ai
๐ข About Far.Ai
FAR.AI is a non-profit AI research institute dedicated to ensuring advanced AI is safe and beneficial for everyone. Since 2022, it has grown rapidly to 45+ staff, producing over 40 influential papers at top venues like NeurIPS, ICML, and ICLR. Working here means contributing to cutting-edge safety research with global impact.
About This Role
As Jailbreaking Lead, you will focus on finding universal jailbreaks for frontier AI models used by hundreds of millions, ensuring they get fixed. This is a senior IC role with potential to build and lead a team, spending most of your time hands-on building attacks and setting the technical bar for world-class jailbreaks.
๐ก A Day in the Life
Start by reviewing the latest frontier model updates and brainstorming new attack vectors. Spend most of the day hands-on, coding and testing jailbreaks, then analyzing results and iterating. You'll also mentor team members, document findings for publication, and coordinate with model providers to ensure fixes are implemented.
