On-Call Cook - (5401)

• Provide all guests with a home-like environment for the duration of their stay in PATH Interim Housing
• Prepare and serve three meals daily plus snacks/refreshments according to standardized recipes and therapeutic menus
• Maintain sanitary conditions during all food preparation and delivery by following correct infection control procedures
• Oversee meal preparation in the absence of the chef and Lead Cook, and assist with food donations and meal delivery to multiple sites

This role helps create a welcoming, homelike environment and provides nutritious meals for people experiencing homelessness, supporting PATH's mission to end homelessness through permanent housing and individualized supportive services.

• Current Food Handling Certificate or ability to obtain Food Handling Certificate
• One (1) year of experience in a paid culinary setting (preferred)
• All levels of education and experience are welcome
• Must have employment eligibility verification, CPR/First Aid training, and pass background screening, drug test, and tuberculosis test
