Senior Data Engineer - Forward Deployed

• Work directly with customers to understand their systems, data structures, and fundraising workflows.
• Develop and maintain integrations across dozens of fundraising, CRM, and adjacent platforms.
• Build, extend, and optimize data pipelines that process and normalize large volumes of records.
• Act as a bridge between clients, engineering, sales, and customer success, translating requirements into solutions.

This role directly enables not-for-profits to raise more funds and do more good by ensuring Dataro's machine learning platform runs effectively for every customer, ultimately helping charities increase their impact.

• 5+ years experience building and supporting real-world data pipelines, including deployment, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
• Extremely strong SQL and Python skills, with experience writing production-grade code.
• Experience with AWS services (EC2, Batch, Lambda, S3, Athena) and Git, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing.
• Excellent communication skills, ability to work independently, and comfort leading customer calls.
