Internal Communications and People Engagement Manager (12 Months Fixed Term Contract)

Core Responsibilities

• Channel Strategy & Management: Owning the roadmap for internal channels, conducting regular reviews to ensure maximum engagement across office, frontline and home-based roles.
• Creative Design Leadership: Leading the visual identity of internal campaigns - from digital signage on Canva to high-impact campaign assets that make our story compelling.
• Delivery Excellence: Managing the "always-on" content calendar, ensuring engagement programmes are delivered on time and tailored for hard-to-reach audiences.
• Two-Way Engagement: Horizon scanning for latest trends to enable two-way conversation and driving engagement in a fast-paced environment.

This role helps drive engagement and alignment behind OVO's strategic business priorities by creating visual clarity and seamless delivery across internal communications channels, supporting the company's mission to solve the climate crisis.

Required skills and experience:

• Solid experience in Internal Communications, specifically within channel management and content delivery.
• Creative storyteller with proven track record of using design to simplify complex information.
• Highly organised and adept at juggling multiple projects, platforms, and stakeholders in a complex business.
• Experience working with remote or hard-to-reach teams, tailoring delivery methods to suit different audience needs.

Compensation and benefits:

• Salary: £42,500 - £50,000 depending on skills and experience
• On-target bonus of 15% based on collective performance to deliver Plan Zero goal
