What you will drive
Core responsibilities include:
- Attending and summarizing meetings with resource persons and partners on initiatives and discussions related to social affairs
- Reviewing and analyzing literature and policies related to urban innovation, social entrepreneurship, and SDG progress of the subregion
- Assisting in the planning and implementation of events and meetings in Social Affairs and Economic Affairs
- Supporting research on youth entrepreneurship trends and relevant policies, and providing assistance in drafting official documents
- Conducting follow-up research on ageing population trends and implications for policies in East and North-East Asia
- Providing logistical and organizational support during events and workshops
- Supporting the management of social media handles and providing communications support

What makes you a great fit
Required qualifications and skills:
- Currently enrolled in or completed graduate school programme (second university degree or higher), OR enrolled in or completed final year of first university degree programme (minimum bachelor's degree)
- Field of study closely related to social affairs internship
- Good knowledge of standard software applications: MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Excel, and MS Teams
- Fluency in spoken and written English (required)
- Ability to draft news articles and/or social media posts (desirable)
- Ability to design surveys and polls (desirable)
- Experience in organizing events such as conferences and workshops (desirable)

What's in it for you
This is an UNPAID internship. Interns work full-time (40 hours per week) for 3-6 months. Costs and arrangements for travel, visas, accommodation and living expenses are the responsibility of interns or their sponsoring institutions.
