Intern, Project Development

• Evaluate site viability through desktop diligence, local permitting research, and review of site conditions using public databases.
• Assist in preparing and executing mailing campaigns and submittal documents for permitting authorities.
• Provide staffing support at community events, public meetings, and project site visits.
• Support solar site assessments and project development efforts for community solar and energy storage projects.

This internship supports the development of solar and energy storage projects that decarbonize electricity, increase equitable access to clean energy, and provide cost-savings to communities, contributing to the energy transition and energy justice.

• Interest in Sustainability, Engineering, and/or Renewable Energy.
• Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude.
• Intermediate computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite and GIS programs (Google Earth) or willingness to learn.
• Ability to prioritize tasks across a broad range of projects.

Hourly rate of $28, capped at 300 total hours (max 30 hrs/week). Part-time benefits include public transit reimbursement, PTO for volunteering, and professional development/educational reimbursements.
