What you will drive
Intern - Korea Chair (Spring 2026) is a 12-week internship program that will provide students with hands-on experience in research, policy analysis, and program management. The internship will be based in Washington, D.C. and will provide a stipend of $3,000. The internship will focus on the following areas:
- Research: Conduct research on various topics related to Korea, including politics, economy, and culture.
- Policy Analysis: Analyze and evaluate policies related to Korea, including trade, security, and human rights.
- Program Management: Assist in the planning and implementation of programs related to Korea, including events, conferences, and workshops.
The ideal candidate will have a strong academic record, excellent research and writing skills, and a demonstrated interest in Korea. The candidate should also be able to work independently and as part of a team.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct research on various topics related to Korea
- Analyze and evaluate policies related to Korea
- Assist in the planning and implementation of programs related to Korea
- Write reports and articles on research findings
- Present research findings to the public
About the Role:
The Korea Chair is a research program at the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS) that focuses on promoting U.S.-Korea relations and advancing U.S. interests in the Asia-Pacific region. The Korea Chair is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented intern to assist in the research and program management of the Korea Chair.
