Intern - Japan Chair (Spring 2026)
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Intern - Japan Chair.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the planning and execution of events and programs related to Japan.
- Conduct research on Japan-related topics and assist in the development of educational materials.
- Collaborate with colleagues to promote cultural exchange and understanding between Japan and the United States.
- Assist in the coordination of logistics for events and programs.
About the Role:
- This is a paid internship opportunity.
- The internship will be for 3-6 months, with the possibility of extension.
- The intern will work approximately 20 hours per week.
- The intern will be based in Washington, D.C.
Requirements:
- Currently enrolled in a degree-granting program at an accredited college or university.
- Strong research and writing skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite.
- Familiarity with Japan and its culture is a plus.
