Intern, Data Analyst (Winter / Spring)

Core responsibilities:

• Data Wrangling – assemble data from various sources and formats into a single set suitable for analysis
• Visualization – create and curate charts and graphics that reveal useful insights
• Monitoring & Troubleshooting – identify, manage, and solve technical/engineering problems using data systems and analytics
• Data Exploration – analyze existing data sets to help answer questions and develop hypotheses

This role contributes to expediting the mass adoption of electric vehicles by helping identify and solve challenges across EVgo's charging network using data and analytics, supporting the transition to clean transportation.

Required skills and experience:

• On track to graduate with BS in Engineering or Data Science related field including Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, Statistics, or similar
• Basic proficiency in scripting with SQL and Python
• Applies analytic techniques for data exploration, data visualization, linear regression, categorical models
• Works independently with little oversight, but also knows when to ask for guidance

Hourly pay: $25.00-$27.00/hour USD. Interns are treated as valued team members with opportunities to collaborate across teams, take ownership of projects, gain hands-on experience, and develop skills through mentorship and professional growth.
