Mission

What you will drive

Core responsibilities:

  • Assist with the substantive and logistical organization of professional training courses in international relations
  • Provide technological support for online training sessions (managing studios)
  • Maintain contact with speakers and trainers
  • Help develop new group assignments and working methods
  • Write pieces for the website and newsletter about the training programs
  • Assist with project management tasks (preparing trainings and reporting)
  • Contribute to sustainable innovation for training programs, potentially including M&E, competency profiles, exploring international best practices, or implementing new technological possibilities like AI

What makes you a great fit

Required qualifications and experience:

  • In the final phase of a relevant education (including but not limited to: political science, public administration, international relations and diplomacy, regional studies, international law, international security, conflict studies, humanitarian studies, European law, etc.)
  • Knowledge of and affinity with (a subfield of) International Relations
  • Interest in education and training activities (experience as a trainer or ambition to become one is a plus)
  • Affinity and experience with planning and organizing (training) activities and project-based support
  • Excellent digital skills (ability to apply AI tools at an advanced level is a plus)
  • Experience dealing with diverse and international target groups
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Possess a 'hands-on' mentality and be proactive
  • Excellent command of English and good command of Dutch (French is a plus), both oral and written
  • Extremely flexible attitude
