How to Apply for Intermediate Telecom Business Analyst

at The Cadmus Group

🏢 About The Cadmus Group

The Cadmus Group is a mission-driven consultancy focused on sustainable change through innovative policy and stakeholder engagement since 1995. Their work spans energy, environment, and social equity, making them ideal for candidates passionate about impactful, systems-level transformation. Joining Cadmus means contributing to projects that shape a more sustainable future.

About This Role

As an Intermediate Telecom Business Analyst, you will bridge the gap between business needs and technical solutions, focusing on automating and digitizing processes for telecom clients. You'll drive scaled agile transformations, manage product backlogs, and ensure seamless collaboration across development teams. This role is pivotal in turning strategic objectives into cost-effective, scalable system changes that improve operational efficiency.

💡 A Day in the Life

A typical day might start with a stand-up with your agile team, followed by facilitating a stakeholder workshop to map out a PMO to FMO process flow. You'll then refine the product backlog, writing user stories with acceptance criteria, and later coordinate with multiple development teams to align dependencies for the next PI planning session.

🎯 Who The Cadmus Group Is Looking For

  • Has 5-7 years of BA experience with strong SDLC and Scaled Agile knowledge, specifically in telecom or similar regulated environments.
  • Can create detailed Epics/Features with acceptance criteria, including non-functional requirements, and has experience with user research and process flow mapping (PMO to FMO).
  • Proficient in collaboration tools like Teams, SharePoint, Confluence, and Visio, with ability to facilitate stakeholder workshops and manage product backlogs.
  • Demonstrates ability to translate complex business needs into automated, digitized solutions and align dependencies across multiple agile teams.

4

Mention proficiency with Cadmus's listed tools (Teams, SharePoint, Confluence, Visio) and any experience with telecom-specific systems (e.g., OSS/BSS).

5

Research Cadmus's recent telecom projects and reference them in your application to show genuine interest in their mission.
