Interim Global Campaigns & Networks Director 

Core responsibilities:

• Provide senior leadership of 350.org's Campaigns & Networks function during a 7-month maternity cover period
• Ensure continuity and delivery of the organization's 2026 global campaign arc, COP31 strategy, and other campaigning initiatives
• Lead implementation of the 12-Month Global Fossil Fuel Phaseout Campaign across countries and regions
• Oversee team leadership, setup, and performance management for approximately 6-7 staff members
• Coordinate rapid response to emerging political opportunities and maintain global networks stewardship

This role creates positive change by leading global campaigns to solve the climate crisis, building a grassroots movement across 188+ countries, and catalyzing transformation through strategic offline actions and online organizing tools.

Required qualifications:

• At least 10 years of experience in designing and managing multi-country campaigns in climate, development, social justice, or human rights sectors
• Minimum 5 years at senior management or leadership level
• Strong experience working across Global North and Global South regions with different operational contexts
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English with ability to translate complex data for diverse audiences
• Strong commitment to justice, equity, diversity and inclusion with experience implementing measures for under-represented groups
• Proven ability to identify campaigning opportunities and translate them into actionable strategic plans

Compensation and benefits:

• Set, non-negotiable salaries at internal salary grade level 4.2 (annual gross salary available on provided list)
• Fully remote, 36-hour work week

• For consultancy arrangement: hourly remuneration equivalent to salary figure +20%
