Interim Global Campaigns & Networks Director

Core responsibilities:

• Provide senior leadership of 350.org's Campaigns & Networks function during a 7-month maternity cover period
• Ensure continuity and delivery of the organization's 2026 global campaign arc, COP31 strategy, and other campaigning initiatives
• Effectively manage the Campaigns & Networks team (approximately 6-7 staff)
• Lead implementation of the 12-month global fossil fuel phaseout campaign and coordinate multilateral events like COP31

This role creates positive change by leading global campaigns to solve the climate crisis through grassroots organizing, mass public actions, and strategic initiatives like the fossil fuel phaseout campaign and COP31 participation, building a global movement for climate justice.

Required qualifications:

• At least 10 years of experience in designing and managing multi-country campaigns in climate, development, social justice or human rights sectors, with at least 5 years at senior management/leadership level
• Strong experience working across multiple regions in Global North and Global South with different operational contexts and organizing models
• Passionate commitment to ending the era of fossil fuels and strong commitment to justice, equity, diversity and inclusion
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with ability to translate complex data into clear messages

Compensation: Set, non-negotiable salaries at 350.org's internal salary grade level 4.2 (annual gross salary details provided via external link). For consultancy arrangements, hourly remuneration will be the hourly equivalent +20% of the salary figure.
