Institutional Giving Manager

Core responsibilities:

• Secure significant funding from foundations, corporations, and government sources
• Identify, cultivate, and steward a portfolio of national institutional funders
• Write timely and compelling letters of interest, grant proposals, and reports
• Manage funder relationships and increase grant submissions through team mentoring

This role creates positive change by securing funding that enables Brighter Bites to provide fresh food access and nutrition education to children and families, helping prevent obesity and achieve long-term health outcomes.

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in nutrition, public health, nonprofit management, or business administration
• 5 years experience in nonprofit fund development or nonprofit leadership
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency in MS Office and ability to manage competing timelines
