Friends of the Wissahickon Instagram Contractor May 2026 โ June 2026 Prepared by Friends of the Wissahickon (FOW) Project Summary Friends of the Wissahickon (FOW) seeks to retain an Instagram contractor to develop original content to engage and grow its 30,000+ followers on a month-to-month basis. Photographers residing locally around the Wissahickon Valley Park area with a well-established photo archive of the park are preferred. The contractor will work with FOW to ensure that: Content is developed, reviewed, and posted in a timely manner. Photography and written content align with FOWโs mission and values . Photography is seasonally appropriate and varies between the many natural and man-made aspects of Wissahickon Valley Park, including but not limited to: Landscapes, tributaries, Creekside views, historic structures, flora, and fauna. Written content highlights educational material pertaining to, but not limited to: Wissahickon Valley Park, its flora and fauna, the Wissahickon watershed, FOWโs stewardship and projects, park history, and phenomena. Engagement is optimized, and the content strategy is adjusted based on performance. FOW and its partnersโ upcoming events and campaigns are advertised in a timely manner. Images and written content are created without the use of AI. Deliverables Each month, the contributor will provide: Daily reposts of relevant stories in which FOW is tagged. Three weekly Instagram grid-posts featuring: Original photography of the Wissahickon Valley Park. Captions that pertain to the educational or promotional guidelines stated above or have otherwise agreed upon with FOW. Two of the twelve monthly grid-posts will engage our advocacy goals, some of which will include: Clean water Accessibility Parks funding Environmental justice Term and Termination This agreement is planned to begin on May 1, 2026, and continues month-to-month with the potential of a long-term agreement to be assessed after one year . Use of AI-generated imagery or content is prohibited. Either party may terminate the agreement with 14 days of written notice. FOW may terminate immediately if contractor breaches confidentiality, brand guidelines, or professionalism standards. Time and compensation The contractor will be paid $700 per month. The contractor will submit a monthly invoice for payment to FOW on or before the last day of each month. FOW pays all invoices within 30 days of receipt of invoices. The contractor will submit a W9 tax form to FOW on or before agreement signing. Questions? Please direct them to this form by March 27, 2026.
