Infrastructure Electrical Engineer (MEP + Wayside)

Core responsibilities:

• Collaborate closely with various teams within Glydways on design challenges, infrastructure technical issues, preliminary planning, and design needs
• Effectively communicate infrastructure project needs ensuring alignment between Glydways' system and vehicle design and development with respect to infrastructure
• Help coordinate, prioritize, and drive project needs in partnership with the engineering team to develop the best technical solution and maintain project timelines
• Meet with outside civil engineering consultants, contractors, and local entities as needed to ensure Glydways design requirements are upheld

This role helps revolutionize public transit by developing infrastructure for a carbon-neutral, interconnected transit system that makes transportation more accessible, affordable, and sustainable, empowering communities to thrive and unlock economic and social prosperity.

Required skills and experience:

• Minimum 6 years of experience with an electrical background focused in design through construction, including design, calculations, estimate development, quality control, and project management
• Proficiency in CADD, including ability to modify and put redlines directly into CADD, communicate with external parties, and understand Civil CADD drawings and plans
• Knowledge of site design experience and knowledge of state and local municipality requirements, and zoning and building codes
• Familiarity and interest in public transit and transportation
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in a team environment
