  • Design, integrate, and operate data pipelines, APIs, and application workflows supporting IWMI’s research platforms and AI-enabled services.
  • Translate research and business requirements into scalable, secure, and standards-compliant technical solutions.
  • Ensure data quality, governance, operational reliability, and effective integration of research outputs into production platforms.

Profile

What makes you a great fit

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.
  • Experience designing and implementing data integration pipelines, ETL workflows, or API-based data exchange systems.
  • Proficiency with API design, documentation (Swagger/OpenAPI), and data exchange formats (JSON, GeoJSON, NetCDF, GeoTIFF).
  • Experience with AWS services (S3, EC2, Lambda, RDS, API Gateway), Docker, and CI/CD workflows.
