Mission
What you will drive
Core responsibilities:
- Assist in reviewing document retention policies and participating in library filing and knowledge management tasks
- Support collection management activities including shelving and weeding, and assist in reference and circulation services
- Design and publish publicity and training materials on library e-resources, services, and ESCAP publications
- Participate in information management, knowledge management, and digital asset management initiatives

This role supports the Library and Communications and Knowledge Management Section in raising the visibility of library resources among staff and clients, and increasing awareness of ESCAP's work among key stakeholders and the public.
Profile
What makes you a great fit
Required qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in or completed a graduate school program (second university degree or higher), OR enrolled in final year of first university degree (bachelor's minimum)
- Field of study closely related to the internship type (administration is desirable)
- Good knowledge of standard software applications, especially MS Word, MS PowerPoint, and MS Teams
- Fluency in English (both oral and written) required; knowledge of French desirable; additional ESCAP working languages (Chinese, Russian) an asset
