Incubator, Democracy x AI Cohort

Core responsibilities:

• Develop AI systems that strengthen democracy through a 12-month incubator program
• Advance a working prototype focused on information quality, institutional transparency, or civic space protection
• Participate in monthly cohort calls, expert mentorship, and skills workshops
• Document approach and outcomes in a public report to benefit the broader field

This role creates positive change by developing AI systems that strengthen democracy through improved information quality, institutional transparency, and civic space protection, with outcomes shared publicly to benefit the broader field.

Required skills and qualifications:

• Experience developing AI systems or working prototypes
• Interest in democracy-strengthening applications of AI
• Ability to participate in cohort activities and mentorship programs
• Commitment to documenting and sharing outcomes publicly
