Income and Engagement Specialist

About the Role

The role involves leading and managing various aspects of fundraising and engagement activities.

Responsibilities

• Lead all mass fundraising and engagement activity including Individual Giving, Legacies, Community & Events Fundraising, and Supporter Care
• Provide operational oversight and support to the High Value Relationships team during a transition period
• Design experiences, appeals, campaigns, and supporter journeys that reflect the voices of people with learning disabilities
• Use financial and KPI information to support delivery and decision-making while maintaining strong performance management

This role creates positive change by growing sustainable income and building long-term relationships with supporters, which enables Mencap to support people with learning disabilities and fight for a kinder, fairer, more inclusive society.

Required skills and experience:

• Senior engagement specialist or fundraising leader with strategic vision and operational judgement
• Experience turning insight into action and using data intelligently while maintaining human relationships
• Ability to lead teams through change with confidence and care
• Comfortable holding performance and using financial/KPI information for decision-making
