How to Apply for in - Sustainability Consulting @ Climate Tech Start-up (m/w/d) - 100% Remote möglich

at Global Changer

🏢 About Global Changer

Global Changer is a climate tech startup that provides an efficient platform guiding B2B companies to swift Net-Zero emissions with automated data solutions. Working here means joining a mission-driven team at the forefront of digital carbon management, offering the flexibility of 100% remote work while directly impacting corporate sustainability.

About This Role

As a Sustainability Consultant, you will define processes, build up the team, and independently manage key accounts for carbon management (CCF, PCF, Net-Zero). You'll also shape the software product and validate results, making this role pivotal in scaling the company's impact.

💡 A Day in the Life

Your day might start with a remote stand-up with your team to align on client deliverables. You'll then analyze carbon data for a key account, prepare a strategic recommendation, and hop on a video call with the client to discuss progress. Later, you'll collaborate with the product team to suggest software improvements based on client feedback.

🎯 Who Global Changer Is Looking For

  • Fluent in German (C2) and English (C1) with excellent communication skills for client-facing roles.
  • At least 3 years of experience in sustainability consulting or a corporate sustainability department, specifically with CCF/PCF or sustainability strategy.
  • Minimum 1 year of team management experience, with a hands-on, team-player mentality.
  • Strong project management skills and a proactive, problem-solving attitude.

📝 Tips for Applying to Global Changer

1

Highlight specific CCF/PCF projects you've led, including the methodologies used (e.g., GHG Protocol, ISO 14064).

2

Emphasize your experience in building or scaling teams, not just managing them.

3

Show how you've contributed to software development or product improvement in previous roles.

4

Tailor your CV to include quantifiable results from sustainability consulting (e.g., reduced carbon footprint by X%).

5

Mention your familiarity with remote work tools and self-management in a 100% remote environment.

✉️ What to Emphasize in Your Cover Letter
