What you will drive
Core responsibilities:
- Lead and deliver a comprehensive Labour Market Assessment (LMA) across nine states in Sudan, focusing on labour demand, supply, and system functions
- Design and implement mixed-methods research combining secondary review and primary data collection (surveys, KIIs, FGDs, observations)
- Integrate Market Systems Development (MSD) lens to identify systemic constraints and sustainable solutions for youth employment
- Produce evidence-based, gender-sensitive analysis and actionable recommendations to inform programme design and implementation

What makes you a great fit
Required qualifications:
- Proven experience leading labour market assessments in fragile, conflict-affected, and humanitarian settings
- Demonstrated technical expertise in gender and inclusion, including GBV risk considerations and disability inclusion
- Strong quantitative and qualitative research skills with experience designing employer/MSME surveys and qualitative methods
- Fluency in English (mandatory) with strong report-writing skills; Arabic proficiency preferred or clear translation plan
