Mission
What you will drive
Core responsibilities:
- Design, develop, integrate, and deploy a user-friendly, high-performance, and secure web-based geospatial system that transforms complex hazard, exposure, and vulnerability datasets into actionable insights
- Develop a comprehensive online geospatial Impact Visualization tool to support visualization, interpretation, and analysis of multi-hazard risk assessment data for Chiang Rai and Surat Thani provinces
- Implement analytical tools and dashboards for hazard intensity visualization, exposure and vulnerability overlay analysis, risk scoring, scenario comparison, and administrative boundary-based summaries
- Provide technical documentation, user manuals, training sessions for national stakeholders, and final deployment and handover package

Profile
What makes you a great fit
Required qualifications:
- Master's degree or higher in Spatial Science, Geospatial Science, Remote Sensing, Marine/Environmental Science, GIS, Earth Observation, or closely related field
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in geospatial data analysis, satellite data processing, or geospatial application development
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, CSS, and experience with web frameworks for interactive mapping
- Proficiency in Python and R for geospatial data processing, visualization, and analysis
- Experience working with SQL-based databases and geospatial data management
- Demonstrated experience in developing geospatial web applications, including front-end and back-end components
- Excellent writing, presentation, and analytical skills
Benefits
What's in it for you
Payment will be made as a lump-sum output-based contract with payments scheduled upon completion of deliverables: 20% for inception and system design package, 50% for fully functional beta version, and 30% for final system deployment and documentation. The contract is home-based with no travel required.
