What you will drive
- Integrate remote sensing data with complementary datasets to contextualize emissions and support equipment-level attribution of methane plumes
- Conduct quantitative and qualitative analysis of methane emissions, emissions inventories, and related sectoral data, translating findings into clear, actionable narratives
- Analyze methane mitigation policies and regulations by assessing the effectiveness of existing initiatives and identifying gaps or opportunities for improvement
- Support the Impact team through stakeholder engagement, project management, and development of reports, briefings, and other materials

Profile
What makes you a great fit
- Bachelor's degree in Atmospheric Science, Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field required; Master's degree preferred (or equivalent experience)
- 2-3 years of experience working on projects related to methane, greenhouse gases, energy, or environmental research, ideally including data analysis and project management within the oil and gas sector
- Experience using data analysis tools such as R, Python, and/or Jupyter Notebooks to visualize and interpret results, with basic familiarity with geospatial tools such as ArcGIS or QGIS
- Strong research and quantitative analysis skills with proficiency in data analysis and understanding of basic statistical methods
