Mission
What you will drive
- Advance policy and coalition strategy by partnering with Redefine's policy team, convening the IL RESET coalition, and building political momentum for ESE-supportive policy.
- Drive ecosystem and partnership development by managing relationships with ESEs, employers, funders, and policymakers in Illinois, and executing targeted initiatives to grow the ecosystem.
- Shape capital deployment by identifying high-potential ESEs for investment opportunities and recommending ecosystem grant funding to unlock regional growth.
- Capture insights and ensure operational traction by tracking ecosystem progress against metrics, maintaining Salesforce CRM data, and synthesizing learnings to inform strategy.

Profile
What makes you a great fit
- 5–7 years proven experience in community development, workforce development, public policy, employment social enterprise, or philanthropy.
- Proven track record of building and managing relationships in Illinois with diverse partners including community leaders, funders, policymakers, and employers.
- Familiarity with public, philanthropic, and impact capital flows into the workforce development sector.
- Expertise in convening groups or coalitions and facilitating alignment among stakeholders with differing priorities.
