What you will drive

About

The iCons Head Manager will be responsible for the operational aspect of the iCon service and staff.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinating and supervising the staff
  • Staff hiring, training, scheduling of working hours, and discipline
  • Liaising between EngSoc and the Faculty of Engineering and Applied Science
  • Maintaining an annual budget and strategic plan to be presented to EngSoc and the Faculty
  • Payroll for employees and remitting taxes

Reporting Structure

Reports to:
- Engineering Society Director of Educational Services
- Engineering Society Vice-President (Operations)

Work Term

May 1st, 2026 to April 30th, 2027

Note: This is not a paid position during the summer, however, a strategic plan and budget must be created during the summer.

Compensation

  • Salary: $160 per week (Salaried)
  • Time Commitment: 10 hours expected per week
  • Salary is non-negotiable
