Mission
What you will drive
Core responsibilities:
- Implement the NRC Global HAS Management System at country level, prepare reports as required, and execute the country HAS Operational Plan in line with global HAS initiatives.
- Develop and maintain country HAS documents, procedures, guidance, and tools, including strategy and budgets, ensuring consistency across the country programme and in line with organisational standards.
- Oversee and/or conduct Security Risk Assessments (SRAs) and access assessments, collaborating with management to implement relevant mitigation measures.
- Line management responsibility for direct reporting staff including performance management, workforce planning, recruitment, staff induction and development, and support for Duty of Care.

What makes you a great fit
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
- Minimum three years of experience working in a senior role with managerial responsibility in a humanitarian/recovery context with strong understanding of Humanitarian Principles, NGO safety and risk management, humanitarian access, and civil-military coordination.
- Previous experience working in complex contexts and participating in access negotiations with an NGO and/or UN agencies with at least one-year professional experience in a high-risk context.
- Working proficiency in English and Arabic, both written and verbal. French proficiency is a plus.
