Human Resources Fellow

• Assist with recruitment and hiring processes, including posting jobs, screening candidates, and coordinating interviews.
• Manage employee onboarding and offboarding, benefits administration, and record maintenance.
• Support HR compliance, policy implementation, employee relations, and HR communications.

This role supports Earthworks' mission to protect communities and the environment from the adverse impacts of mineral and energy development by ensuring the organization has a strong, diverse, and supported workforce.

• 1-3 years of experience in a related HR/talent role (including internships or coursework).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, detail-oriented, and strong organizational skills.
• Strong empathy, interpersonal skills, and ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Multicultural competence and commitment to working with diverse backgrounds.

Compensation: $2,500 per two-week pay period (approximately $65,000 annualized). This is a temporary, full-time position from October 5, 2026 to March 5, 2027. Not benefits-eligible, but includes paid time off (holidays and leave) and mentorship/professional development support.
