Human Factors Specialist
About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Human Factors Specialist to join our team. As a Human Factors Specialist, you will be responsible for designing and conducting human-centered design research to inform the development of our products and services. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate potential human factors risks, and develop solutions that meet the needs of our customers.
Responsibilities
- Conduct human factors research to identify and mitigate potential risks
- Design and conduct usability testing and other human-centered design research methods
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop solutions that meet the needs of our customers
- Develop and maintain human factors standards and guidelines
- Provide training and support to internal stakeholders on human factors principles and practices
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Human Factors, Psychology, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in human factors or a related field
- Strong understanding of human factors principles and practices
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
- Experience with human-centered design research methods and tools
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements and industry standards
