Hub Risk and Contract Manager

Core Responsibilities

• Provide professional risk and contract management advice and guidance to Sales, Procurement and Project management teams
• Develop risk and contract management strategies for ensuring improved operational results within the Hub
• Support process improvements throughout the organization in matters of risk and contract management
• Provide Contract management services for select large and complex projects in the Hub Business Unit

This role protects Hitachi Energy business interests from tender submission to project completion, ensuring all contract and risk management activities are executed in accordance with directives and instructions, leading to improved operational results and margin improvements during project execution.

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor or Master's degree in Law preferred, alternatively degree in business administration or engineering with strong and relevant legal/contractual experience
• At least 8 years of experience in Risk and Contract Management including strong knowledge of service agreements, engineering or procurement environments
• Proven track record of handling projects of varying size and complexity
• Experience in drafting different types of contracts: sub-supplier, consortium etc.
• High-level negotiations: contract administration, claims, change management and sound knowledge of planning and scheduling
• Excellent command of English, both written and spoken (German is an advantage)
