HR, People, and Culture Specialist

• Develop and implement HR policies and procedures to foster a positive work environment.
• Manage employee relations, conflict resolution, and performance management processes.
• Lead talent management including onboarding, pay equity audits, and training programs.
• Collaborate with leadership to align HR strategies with organizational goals.

This role ensures a positive, equitable, and effective workplace culture at Climate Defiance, enabling the organization to focus on its mission of climate action.

• Bachelor's degree required; Master's preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of HR experience with focus on employee relations, conflict resolution, and performance management.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills.
• Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations; HR certification is a plus.

This is a consulting position with an hourly rate of $80–$100 per hour, 10–15 hours per week. No additional benefits are offered.
