HR Manager

Core responsibilities:

• Oversee end-to-end recruitment, hiring, and onboarding processes to ensure an equitable and consistent candidate and employee experience
• Manage employee relations matters, providing coaching, conflict resolution support, and policy guidance to staff and managers
• Administer and process payroll accurately and on schedule, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local requirements
• Coordinate performance management processes, including goal setting, check-ins, performance evaluations, and improvement plans

This role contributes to creating a positive, equitable, and inclusive workplace culture at an organization fighting for a more equitable society and ensuring all Americans have the right to secure justice in the courts.

Required qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in human resources
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent related experience
• Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices
• Experience with payroll processing and HRIS platforms

Compensation and benefits:

• Starting annual salary range: $77,500-$85,925
