Mission
What you will drive
Core responsibilities:
- Manage hiring for in-district teams across Battleground Alliance's congressional districts, including roles such as district director, training coordinator, data coordinator, coalition coordinator, relational coordinator, and communications consultant
- Maintain organized tracking for all open positions and candidate pipelines, coordinate interviews efficiently across multiple time zones and stakeholders, and ensure consistent candidate experience with timely communication
- Develop job descriptions and SOWs in collaboration with BA Campaigns, provide regular updates to campaign leadership on hiring progress and pipeline health, and identify and resolve bottlenecks quickly

Required qualifications:
- Proven track record in high-volume recruitment, ideally in campaign or political organizing settings, with strong understanding of field organizing roles and what makes candidates successful
- Exceptional organizational skills managing multiple concurrent processes, ability to assess candidate quality and cultural fit quickly, and excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Objectivity and thoughtfulness in applicant review, self-directed work style with minimal oversight needed, and comfort with rapid decision-making and adapting processes as needs evolve
- Proficiency with applicant tracking systems
Benefits
What's in it for you
Compensation: $15,000 per month (pro-rated for partial months), which converts to $180,000 annually. This is a temporary contract position through April 30, 2026.
