About the Role

Responsibilities

Core responsibilities:
- Respond to contacts across Beat's support channels including telephone, webchat, email, and social media
- Facilitate daily online peer support groups
- Ensure beneficiaries receive high quality, timely support
- Work closely with the Helpline team including Senior Helpline Advisors, Digital Helpline Volunteers, and managers

This role makes a difference to the lives of each person who contacts Beat's helpline, including sufferers, family, friends, and supporters, by providing timely support during a time when Beat is receiving more contacts than ever before.

Required skills and qualifications:

• Ability to provide support across multiple channels (phone, webchat, email, social media)
• Experience facilitating online peer support groups
• Welsh language skills are particularly encouraged (funding from Welsh government)
• Ability to work effectively in a remote team environment
