Health Insurance Enrollment Counselor (Remote, Part-Time)

• Conduct client enrollments and renewal appointments over the phone, explaining Covered California health insurance plans and financial assistance.
• Educate clients on metal tiers, costs, and co-pays; compassionately listen to health needs to guide plan selection.
• Submit applications through the Covered California portal, troubleshoot account access, and process payments.
• Perform administrative duties including CRM data entry, client communication, and document uploads.

This role directly helps Californians access affordable healthcare by guiding them to appropriate health plans, reducing financial and emotional barriers to coverage.

• Located in California with availability at least 4 weekdays and some evenings/weekends.
• High emotional intelligence, personable over the phone, and excellent writing skills.
• Analytical skills, computer literacy, highly organized, timely, and self-motivated.
• California Life and Health Insurance License (or willingness to obtain through licensing support program).
