  • Help underserved families understand and navigate healthcare services
  • Advocate for multicultural families of children with disabilities and special healthcare needs

Required qualifications:

  • Proficient in English with strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Prior experience assisting families to obtain appropriate services and supports
  • Familiarity with state/local resources and how to access them
  • Ability to use Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) effectively
  • Strong knowledge of special education, DDA system, Maryland's healthcare system, and disability resources
  • Available for flexible work hours (some evenings and weekends)
  • Reliable transportation
