Mission

What you will drive

  • Develop and nurture partnership opportunities across Tropic's GEiGS® and AgroTrop™ technology platforms, building trusted, long-term relationships with partners globally.
  • Manage the technology sales pipeline – identifying/qualifying new accounts and progressing them to signed agreements.
  • Source leads, drive discovery conversations, and progress opportunities through the sales lifecycle to deal close.
  • Act as the primary commercial interface with partners, ensuring alignment across internal stakeholders.

Profile

What makes you a great fit

  • 5+ years progressive experience in technology sales, commercial partnerships, or business development within life sciences or crop biotechnology.
  • Proven track record of hunting and closing high-value technology deals, ideally in platform licensing.
  • Advanced degree in a relevant scientific discipline (e.g., Molecular Biology, Genetics, Biotechnology, or Plant Sciences).
  • Working understanding of crop biotechnology, precision-breeding techniques (e.g., CRISPR gene-editing), and RNAi.
