Head of Software Engineering

Core responsibilities include:

• Leading all engineering teams (software architects, developers, testers) to ensure technical delivery aligned with business goals
• Managing hiring, setting standards, overseeing architecture, and ensuring on-time delivery across multiple teams or projects
• Mentoring software engineers and testers, defining technical strategy, and coordinating with product and leadership teams
• Setting goals for delivery timelines, quality benchmarks, and system reliability while implementing efficient production monitoring

Required qualifications include:

• Strong working knowledge of .NET, C#, MVC, WCF Rest, WebAPI, Angular, and similar frameworks
• Experience with application lifecycle development tools like Azure DevOps/GitHub Enterprise, SonarQube, Artifactory
• Expertise in SOLID principles, design patterns, UML, object-oriented programming, and service-oriented/microservice architectures
• Experience hosting applications on Microsoft Azure or AWS and knowledge of multi-tier architectures
