Head of SEO

About the Role

The Head of SEO will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive SEO strategies to improve organic search rankings and drive traffic to the British Gas and Hive websites.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive SEO strategies to improve organic search rankings and drive traffic to the British Gas and Hive websites
• Oversee and lead on the technical SEO aspects of the websites, including site architecture, crawlability, and indexation
• Monitor and analyse website performance using SEO tools and analytics platforms, providing regular reports and insights to stakeholders
• Manage and mentor a team of three SEO specialists, providing guidance, support, and professional development opportunities

This role helps make the UK greener and more energy efficient by improving online visibility for Centrica's brands, which provide sustainable energy solutions like heat pumps, solar panels, and EV chargers to reduce customers' carbon footprints.

• Proven track record of driving organic growth and improving search rankings for market-leading organisations
• Deep technical SEO expertise and proficiency in tools like Adobe Analytics, Google Search Console, and SEMrush
• Strong analytical capabilities and excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Demonstrated leadership in managing and developing high-performing teams
