Head of Programmes

Core responsibilities:

• Lead, manage and develop a team of Programme Management professionals responsible for multiple projects from bid development through to production readiness
• Ensure projects achieve desired deliverables on time, to cost and quality standards
• Define and develop tools and processes for program management and reviews
• Maintain the programs dashboard and allocate tasks in line with business needs

This role contributes to the successful development of "leading edge" products that support industrial growth markets requiring advanced technology and high reliability, including environmental monitoring and other critical sectors.

Required qualifications:

• Educated to degree level with engineering or scientific background for technically credible dialog with engineering and production teams
• Experience delivering complex technically challenging programmes
• Bid and programme management skills within an engineering or manufacturing process environment
• Knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies, AS9100 and associated quality standards
• Confidence, professionalism with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
