Head of Policy Analysis

• Lead AI policy analysis production and manage a small team producing public and private briefings for decision-makers.
• Produce policy analysis including public pieces (op-eds, briefings, explainers) and private memos for policymakers and partner organizations.
• Manage a distributed team of fellows and analysts, editing their work and maintaining quality and deadlines.
• Track AI policy developments in real time and identify emerging issues requiring analysis.

This role shapes AI policy by providing decision-makers with rigorous analysis, helping to ensure AI development is safe and beneficial.

• Experience in policy analysis, preferably in AI or technology policy.
• Strong writing and editing skills for diverse audiences.
• Ability to manage a distributed team and meet deadlines.
• Knowledge of AI safety and governance issues.
