Head of Operations

• Lead and optimize organizational and study operations to drive growth and create scalable processes
• Manage in-person studies including participant recruiting, day-of activities, communication, tracking, and post-study evaluations
• Run planning cadence (quarterly priorities and goal-setting) and establish systems to track work across teams
• Build and manage project budgets and operations work plan, coordinating with outsourced partners (bookkeeping, payroll, auditing/tax, legal, HR)

This role contributes to biosecurity by helping measure how AI augments human performance in biological experimentation, advancing risk assessment science and implementing concrete mitigations to safeguard the future of AIxBio.

• Extensive (3+ years) experience in project management
• 2+ years of direct people management experience
• Strong written and oral communication abilities
• Discreet & trustworthy with confidential or sensitive information

• Starting salary range: $110,000 to $160,000 per year
