Head of Interconnection & Transmission

• Develop and execute Zanskar's interconnection and transmission strategy across WECC and CAISO to secure grid access for a multi-gigawatt geothermal portfolio.
• Lead queue management, including submissions, study analyses, and interconnection agreement negotiations with utilities and ISOs.
• Build and manage a high-volume pipeline of interconnection filings, tracking milestones, budgets, and risk.
• Provide data-driven recommendations on proceed/hold/withdraw decisions for each project milestone.

This role directly enables the deployment of clean, firm geothermal energy, displacing carbon emissions and accelerating the transition to renewable energy at scale.

• 5+ years of interconnection or transmission project leadership.
• BS in related field; Master's preferred.
• Strong technical foundation in power systems, power flow analysis, and interconnection cost estimation.
• Excellent communication and executive presence; ability to present complex topics to leadership and external stakeholders.
