Head of Growth

Core responsibilities:

• Owning and leading growth experiments to communicate AI risks to the general public
• Developing and executing growth strategy, building systems and processes
• Identifying ideal customer profiles and running targeted experiments
• Building and managing a roster of creators, writers, contractors, and external partners

This role creates positive change by developing effective strategies to communicate AI risks to billions of people worldwide, creating sufficient public pressure for careful, conscientious AI development rather than haphazard competition.

Required qualifications:

• Experience leading growth initiatives at a startup or non-profit with a track record of experimentation and measurement
• Significant experience communicating social issues to the public via campaigns, movements, social media, or mass media
• Comfort wearing multiple hats and operating in a startup environment
• Strong opinions on effective communication and what's missing from current discourse
• Deep alignment with CivAI's mission of helping the world understand AI risks

Compensation and perks:

• Salary range: $140,000 - $180,000
