Head of Grantmaking Operations

Lead grantmaking operations and compliance for a rapidly scaling effective altruism organization deploying over $150M across multiple funds.
- Own full grant lifecycle: intake, diligence, structuring, approval, payment, monitoring, and closeout across growing funds.
- Serve as in-house authority on US charitable grantmaking, including cross-border grants, grants to individuals, and non-standard structures.
- Design scalable systems, SOPs, and workflows that enable high-volume fast-track grantmaking while maintaining appropriate risk controls.
- Lead and develop the Grants Operations team; partner with Program Officers, Heads of Funds, and Finance on aligned grantmaking strategy.
- Requires substantial hands-on US charitable grantmaking experience from a foundation, nonprofit, or regranting organization.
