Head of Development Role Overview
The Head of Development will serve as a key leadership team member and active participant in making strategic fundraising decisions affecting Southeast Community Foundation (SCF). This role is responsible for designing and implementing a comprehensive plan for developing key existing alliances by cultivating individual and philanthropic support.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a key leadership team member and active participant in making strategic fundraising decisions affecting Southeast Community Foundation (SCF)
- Design and implement a comprehensive plan for developing key existing alliances by cultivating individual and philanthropic support
- Establish and implement the infrastructure needed to grow a $2,000,000 annual budget through solicitation of major gifts, grants, special events, and corporate and foundation support
- Expand and diversify SCF's donor base/pipeline and work closely with other team members to secure funding for new initiatives
