Mission
What you will drive
Core responsibilities:
- Running experiments to communicate AI risks to the general public with an extremely broad and creative action space
- Identifying and refining ideal customer profiles and running experiments specifically for them
- Working with creators, writers, contractors, and external partners to produce and distribute content
- Managing launches of new content, demos, press, and social media presence across platforms
- Measuring results rigorously and iterating based on learnings
- Building systems to turn successful experiments into scalable, repeatable processes

What makes you a great fit
Required skills and experience:
- Experience working on growth at a startup, thinking in terms of experiments and measuring results, in roles including growth, marketing, communications, or product
- Past experience communicating social issues to the public via campaigns, movements, social media, or other forms of mass media
- Strong personal agency with ability to proactively initiate new projects and persevere in bringing them to life
- Comfort wearing multiple hats beyond core responsibilities in a startup environment
- Strong opinions on what makes for good communication and what is missing from the discourse
- Deep alignment with CivAI's mission of helping the world better understand the implications and risks of advanced AI
