What you will drive
- Conduct steady-state transmission system analysis using TARA or related software to evaluate large load and data center interconnection opportunities, identify network upgrade risks, and assess mitigation pathways.
- Develop data-driven tools, screening methods, and dashboards to improve interconnection evaluation, portfolio prioritization, and decision-making.
- Use Python to automate data processing, study workflows, case management, and repetitive analytical tasks.
- Support technical engagement with grid operators, consultants, utilities, and internal development teams, and monitor transmission planning and policy developments.

What makes you a great fit
- B.S. in Electrical Engineering required; M.S. preferred with focus in Power Systems or Energy Systems.
- 3+ years of professional experience in power and energy industry with focus on transmission, interconnection, or power systems analysis.
- Strong background in power systems analysis, transmission fundamentals, and study interpretation; proficiency with TARA or comparable tools.
- Strong Python skills for automation and data analysis; familiarity with AI-driven tools like Perplexity and GitHub Copilot.
